Adventures with the Ross Family: Week in the Life 2012 {Wednesday}

7:55am: I wake up all on my own! No kid climbing in bed or no baby crying. It's honestly amazing.

8:15am: Kids are still asleep. I'm impressed. But also wondering..are they still breathing? I better jump in the shower.

8:30am: I hear Julie crying for her bottle! I get her up. Jax comes strolling down the hallway. "Good Morning Momma! Did you have a good night-night?" Aw, he's so sweet.

8:31am: Jax goes in Julie's room and turns on her light. She's on the floor drinking her bottle and she is blinded by the brightness that we would call morning. I ask Jax to turn it off. He gets mad at me and tries to be mouthy. Wasn't I just thinking he was sweet?

8:45am: Jax gets the iPad and realizes that it's all changed. Justin did a restore on last night cause SOMEONE (that would be me!) forgot the password to the restriction part of the settings. And the only way to fix it is to restore it. What a pain. Anyways, Jax is annoyed that one of his games is back to square one. And he had opened up all the locked levels. So I encourage him to start over. "Look how much fun it is! You get to do it again!"

He buys into it.

9:00am: Bath time. Jax is all about his Spiderman Bubble Bath.

Jax misbehaves in the bath. I then realize we are in for a long day.

9:50am: Julie and I eat breakfast. Jax is in a timeout.

10:00am: Jax gets to eat breakfast now.

10:10am: Justin gives Jax a talk about behaving and obeying. To encourage no more time outs, Justin promised to take Jax to Chick fil a this afternoon if he doesn't have any more time outs.

The major question of the day...Can Jax stay out of timeout????

10:15am: Justin leaves for work. Julianne said, "bye bye dada" and gave him and waved at him. And then she closed the door!

I start my morning routine.

11:00am: Housework is done, laundry is in the washer, and I don't need to prep for Tot School today. I boil some eggs for lunch and I collaspe on the couch and check facebook. The kids are actually playing somewhat nicely together!

11:30am: I realize I forgot about the boiling eggs. Yeah, I'm pretty sure they are done now.

11:45: Lunch.

Can you tell I forgot to buckle Julie in?

Oh, I adore this little spitfire!

12:00pm:

Yes please.

12:15pm: Julie is napping. Jax is in quiet time. Time to blog, email, etc!

1:20pm: Justin is home for the afternoon. (Then back to work this evening!)

2:30pm: Julianne wakes up!

3:00pm: We head to Chick fil a.

The kids play in the play area. I enjoy a Banana Pudding Milkshake. So yummy!

4:00pm: We start to leave Chick fil a to go to the Post Office

4:30pm: Barely made it to the Post Office before it closed. Whew!

Jaxson pretended to drive while Justin was inside mailing packages.

Headed to Kroger for milk, cheese, bread!

Jax is in love with the little carts. But he doesn't walk, he runs with the cart. Even with two gallons of milk in there, he was still just as speedy.

5:00pm: Home! I make dinner and Justin leaves for work.

5:30pm: We eat. Dinner clean up.

6:00pm: Jaxson is in his pajamas and watching Dora the Explorer. Julie is drinking a bottle.

7:00pm: Bedtime for the kiddos!

8:00pm: More emails!

9:00pm: Justin is home!

9:30pm: Bedtime for me. I'm pretty tired!
