19 Months {Julianne}

Well, what's new with "Little Spunky?"

We took her to the doctor today.  I'm a bad mom and forgot about her 15 month well-child check up.  And I was a month late with her 18 month check up as well.  So today she had to get 5 shots.  Poor girl.  And she is milking it for all it's worth.  She has 5 bandaids on her leg and she will look at them and then look at you and start to pout and put her lower lip out.  Now, I gave her some tylonel, and I know they have to be hurting her.  But really?  The pouting?

It totally works too.  Because we fawn over her, hold her, and cuddle with her.  We are all putty in her hands.

But on most normal days, she and Jax are playing around with all their toys.  Jax recently created a new game call "School Bus."  They walk around the house holding onto a string, Jax pulls her a long and she is just happy as can be.

She is asserting her independence with food.  She is being really picky.  And at first I thought maybe she wasn't feeling good because she wasn't eating lunch or dinner.  But when we would get out the potato chips, she ate those just fine.  So I guess she was trying to fool me.

Her most favorite food is pork rinds.  I know.  What would she do if we didn't live in the south?  We even had to go to the store and get her own package.  Justin and I like the the HOT flavor, but Julianne can't eat those.  So she gets her own BBQ flavored ones and will eat away.

"Baby Bootcamp" went fine and she is now sleeping better.  (Although, with those shots she just got today, I'm not too confident I will get a proper night's rest.  I'm sure she will be up a lot.)  But now she is in "Baby Bootcamp" Hair Edition.  Everytime I do her hair, she pulls it out.  So annoying!  I've been working with her to show her that her hair "looks pretty" and that we don't pull our pony tails out.  It's a long process.
